| "Such a condition is known to be very uncomfortable and can also be quite frightening, and it occurs when there are premature contractions with excessive blood being pumped into the heart."
Everybody Sing Now About Menopause Out Loud!
Menopause Out Loud! is the original name for Menopause The Musical which plays in many major cities for months at a time to packed houses. But from this wildly popular musical an organization to help make women going through menopause feel better about themselves developed. From advertisements, fashion magazines and entertainment, youth is sacred. There are also many stories in the news about older women being harder to find a job or make a career change to prejudice about older women. Menopause is a big sign that you are getting older. That can have a demoralizing and depressing effect on many women. Some women even feel as if they are the only ones in the world going through menopause. Being able to laugh about it and accept menopause makes getting older something to look forward to.
Why Didnt I Think Up This Idea?
You didnt think up this money-making and self-help idea because Jeanie Linders beat you to it. She was inspired by drinking wine during a hot flash, a method of connecting with the muse that is not really recommended, but in this wine case it worked. Jeanie came up with parodies to 25 very popular songs, changing only the lyrics to be more menopausal-friendly. Stayin Alive became Stayin Awake. Puff the Magic Dragon became Puff! My God, Im Draggin.
Menopause Out Loud! is set in a lingerie shop where four menopausal women sing, dance and shop about the trials and tribulations of menopausal symptoms. Not only has Menopause Out Loud! helped women be able to laugh at themselves and see that growing older is not all that bad, but it has also helped men and younger family members to emphasize what all women have to go through.
The Entertainment To Empowerment Foundation
Jeanne Linders became a rich woman, but decided to give back to the customers who had given to her. In 2003, the Entertainment to Empowerment Foundation was born, financed by Menopause Out Loud! . The Foundation is a non-profit organization that gives grants to women over 40 for businesses, starting art or health projects, or for women over 40 who have ideas to help other women over 40. It also promotes awareness of the early signs of ovarian cancer and has given tons of money to various cancer charities in America and Canada.
Menopause Out Loud! can make you feel good going to a critically acclaimed musical, but you can also feel good knowing that some of your ticket money is going to many charities.
